The Law of Attraction tells us that we get what we believe, that we get whatever
we focus our thoughts on. Ah, I hear you say – why do I think about winning the lottery every week and never do
then!. Well that will be because deep down within, you have doubts, you do not truly believe – and ultimately
you do not truly want it. In order to attract what you want into your life you first of all need to know what it is
that you want, not what your Ego thinks you should have – that’s the
difference! The key here then is to learn the difference between what your ego
wants and what your true self, higher self or inner being wants.
Imagination is far
more important than knowledge……Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions! (Albert Einstein)
If you really do not know what it is that
you want, then try spending time alone with yourself, time in silence to get in touch with your thoughts and to contemplate.
Deep relaxation techniques and meditation* will afford you quiet time and enable
you to better get in touch with your inner self. The more often you meditate
the more self enlightened you will become. The more enlightened you become the more certain you will be about the life you
want for yourself. When you reach that point then your energy vibration will be in sync with the energy vibration of what
it is that you want........... Then you will achieve it! Energy vibration? Everything in the universe is made up of energy
– including us – and every particle of energy has a frequency at which it resonates or vibrates. Our thoughts
too are vibrations thus when we ‘send’ out a thought into the ether then its vibration will bring it into being
so to speak.
We all know of people who perpetually
have ‘bad luck’. People who constantly bemoan their circumstances and repeatedly blame outside influences. These
people are usually in poor physical health too. They are continually focussing on the negativity of their situation thus they
are continually attracting more of the same. Two people can be living almost identical lives and one will be happy and the
other miserable. One will perceive life from all the good aspects whilst the other from all the negativity. Hence life for
the former will improve continually whilst the latter will sink deeper and deeper into misery. Sound familiar?
In order to achieve the life you want
you first of all need to think that life. Like everything in this universe your
thoughts are energy and that energy is transmitted into the ether, and whatever you think about will then come your way. If
you are lacking something then thinking about that lack will bring more of same and the lack will continue. Instead you need
to think about what you have that you are happy with and consequently you will then attract more of that positivity into your
life. The more you worry endlessly about perceived ‘problems’ in your life then the more intense and troublesome
these perceived ‘problems’ will become. I use the term perceive because after all, something is only a problem
if it is perceived to be a problem and by simply altering your perception of a situation and viewing it from a different perspective
the ‘problem’ will simply cease to exist! For example if you appear to have little money you may focus on that
lack of money. Because you are thinking about not having enough money you will believe that you are lacking enough money.
Thus you will continue to lack because this is what you are believing and focussing your attention onto. If however, you alter
your perception of the situation by thinking about what you do have – including
any limited amount of money however small – then you will attract more of the same. If you think about only what you
do have you will form the belief that you have enough. Because you then believe
that you have enough you will then behave as though you have enough. Consequently your energy will exude this perception and
you will always have enough.
To further aid you to believe use affirmations regularly at least once a day.
Simply affirm daily, along with a period
of deep relaxation/meditation every day and you can begin to see positive changes in your life.
The word Meditation broadly
refers to techniques that focus the mind and promote a state of calmness so that the mind and body can be brought into greater
harmony to facilitate health and healing. It can involve any of a variety of approaches that use breathing and other techniques
to achieve a deep state of relaxation, improve concentration, and to become attuned to ones inner self. Put simply, meditation
is a means of focusing the mind to reduce or to eliminate conscious thought, thus balancing the internal self with the external
self.
